From her start in entry-level sales to becoming a top-tier enterprise client executive, Meredith’s sales success at Relias is a testament to ambition, resilience, and the supportive environment we foster. 

From small beginnings to big achievements

Meredith’s career at Relias began eight years ago in what was then called small business sales. “I started at the lowest you could be, working with our smallest clients,” Meredith recalls. This foundational experience was crucial, as it gave her a comprehensive understanding of Relias’ solutions and client interactions across the spectrum. 

Her rise to the role of enterprise client executive highlights her dedication and the growth opportunities available at Relias. “It’s an absolute honor to sit in the enterprise space,” she says. “I feel like I got a good understanding of the business and our clients by starting with our smallest customers.” 

Embracing challenges and building relationships

Meredith’s success in sales comes from her ability to close deals and her deep commitment to building lasting relationships. “It’s a lot about relationship building here at Relias,” she explains. “We are selling an important solution in a very important market. It’s not like you’re selling a pair of shoes; you’re likely to work with the same people again.” 

Navigating sales with a personal touch

Reflecting on her journey and the challenges of learning a complex market, Meredith emphasizes the support she received: “Diving into a healthcare solution was a big task, but I felt very supported by the people around me and our training programs.” 

Her advice to those new to sales or facing difficulties is insightful and practical: “Keep your head down, do what you know works, and don’t listen to the noise.” This philosophy has helped her maintain focus and resilience throughout her career. 

Rewarding excellence at president’s club

One of the highlights of Meredith’s sales career at Relias has been her consistent qualification for the President’s Club, an accolade she has earned six consecutive times. These trips serve as a reward for outstanding performance and offer unique experiences around the globe. 

Reflecting on her favorite destination, Meredith shares, “Banff was by far one of the most magical trips. It wasn’t just the stunning views or the historical setting; it was a true President’s Club experience. Riding a ski lift to a restaurant with glass windows overlooking the world felt like stepping into a postcard.”  

Life at Relias: more than just a job

Working at Relias has been about more than just professional growth for Meredith. It’s been a journey filled with significant life milestones—getting married, becoming a stepmom, and now, preparing for maternity leave. “I’ve had some amazing life events happen while I’ve been here, and I feel very supported by Relias through them all,” she shares. 

Her connection to her team and the broader Relias family has been crucial. “My team is a group of people from all different backgrounds. We really do win together or lose together,” says Meredith. This sense of community and support is what makes Relias special for her.
